Every decoration is hand cut and appliquéd using free motion machine embroidery, a technique which allows you to use a sewing machine needle like a pencil. Each design is created using coloured cotton mix fabric, a calico backing fabric, a layer of flat wadding fabric and backed in a luxurious Liberty printed cotton lawn fabric.
Each fabric retriever dog decoration is cut by hand, two items will therefore never be exactly alike, adding to their charm, making them individual and emphasising their handmade nature.

Available in a choice of breed colours, Golden retriever, Red fox retriever and white retriever.
These everyday style hanging decorations arrive gift packaged in a little organza bag with a branded backing card. Alternatively you can purchase a mistletoe wreath Christmas card with plain white envelope separately for the decoration to be hung from. If this option is purchased the organza bag will be omitted from your order.
Made From
Each retriever decoration is hand cut from calico and cotton mix fabrics with a beautiful Christmas themed printed fabric on the reverse side. Pattern and colour may vary from example shown.
These decorations are sewn using free motion embroidery and have a piece of wadding* in-between to provide thickness. *This is not a stuffed decoration design.
The retriever dog decoration is hung from a short loop of ribbon (ribbon colour may vary from the colour shown in the product photography).

Personalisation
Choose to have your pet’s name free motion embroidered onto the decoration.
The name* will be embroidered onto the body of the dog. Choose the drop down menu option to add a stitched name to your decoration.
*Occasionally the design of the dog does not leave room for a name to be added, particularly if it’s a narrow shaped design.
The colour thread used will be either cream or brown depending on the colour of the dog. If the dog has different colour patches on its body it may be necessary to add a calico patch to add the name to.
The scale of the writing will depend on the length of the name to allow it to fit.
Please note longer names may not be possible depending on the space available on the decoration.
The stitching will be readable from the front of the dog and visible on the reverse side of the design as it is stitched through.

The retriever decoration is wrapped in a little organza bag with a branded backing card. The option to purchase a mistletoe wrath design Christmas card for the decoration to be hung from is also available. If this option is purchased the organza bag will be omitted.
All orders are lovingly and carefully packaged in a little spotty paper bag by hand before shipping.
